Ok. Then ongoing saga continues LOL. Ive temporarily hot wired my fuel pumps and still have no fuel. So Im now thinking that its the ECM because it will run on starter fluid. I know Ive got fuel to the fuel rail. I think when I accidentally hooked up the battery backwards that I may have hurt the ECM... is there a way to reset it or am I just stuck shelling out another $100+ on a new ECM?

 

check to make sure your getting spark to the plugs if your not then you prob fried the ecm if you already bypassed the fuel the next step is to bypass the spark cause thats all thats left to run an engine

and when you say you bypassed the fuel and still no no fuel did you check the preasure what engine is in your truck the 4.9 the 5.0 or the 5.8 ?

 

I forgot to repost. I un hot wired the pumps and bought a reman ecm. fired right up.
