Default E4OD interchange issue

OK guys I've got a little issue. The E4OD in my 1993 went out and I got an awesome price on one out of a 1990 Bronco. I installed it thinking everything would be the same, but it turns out that is not the case. The shifter arm on the side of the 1990 trans shifts the transmission in the opposite direction of the 93. Turns out the 90 had mechanical linkage (pushes to shift) while the 93 has a cable (pulls to shift). The MLPS sensor was also different so I swapped those. My question is can I swap the manual lever and linkages inside the transmissions so that I can shift this trans in my 93 with the cable setup?

Are you sure the linkages aren't set different . Pulling on top would be pushing on the bottom.
