mine can be a push or pull,,, but ive got it on push right now,,which is better?

It has to be set on pull if the fan is behind the radiator (closer to engine). It has to be set on push if it's in front of the radiator (closer to grille). It only reverses the rotation of the fan. It's better to pull than to push.

its pushing thru radiator from back right now,,,,y is it better to pull thru radiator?

From the back? Like fan closer to the engine? Like that you are fighting the wind from the movement of the truck, so it needs to pull in the same direction as the wind flow. I think the fan works more efficiently if it pulls, everywhere I've read says pulling is better.

yea pulling is better cuz the wind that your fan is pulling into the engine compartment also blows on the block and stuff keeping it a little cooler, like Sean said if you have in on the back of the radiator and yours is pushing you are fighting the natural flow of air when you are driving your truck so it might not be doing anything at all to help cool i would definitaly switch it to pull

this may be a dumb question but how does the relay from autozone know when the engine is at the right temp. is it wired into something else?

yeah i think theres a new thermostat housing that has wires coming out of it that gets switched when the thermostat opens or somethin

I planned on heading to the junk yard tomorrow to pick up a few thing's.. I've also been wanting to put the e-fan's in my truck for awhile, along with the Ford Taurus what else has the e-fan's in them??

Nearly all front wheel drive vehicles..... When you get there just ask for an electric fan, I'm sure they'll have a pile of them....
