can someone plz confirm for me which of the 2 tanks on "95" f150 4.9 in the main and which is secondary?

Why? Seems to me the rear might be the main......better weight distribution both front/rear and left/right. Actually it seems that neither is "main".

What determines which is "main"? Seems to me there is nothing to say which is "main".....switch doesn't indicate....

BTW, anyone know the size/capacity of each?

you have a front/midship or a rear/aftaxle, if you go looking up parts for them thats how they will be listed, as far as front tanks go some were 16 gal and some were 19 gal, i believe the 16 gal ones were on 4x4 trucks with the E4OD trans, and the all rears had 18 or 19 gal tanks.

my 95 has duel tanks with 2 19 gal tanks, and the 92 short bed i had, had a single tank in the rear that was a 18 gal tank.
