Default Driver side wiper problems!?

So this has been an issue since I bought the truck but with our current drought I've forgotten about it. Today however, we FINALLY got a little rain which leads me to the question:
On my '91 the driver side wiper rotates throughout the whole cycle as it should but only really wipes the lower and the upper quarters of the window. I've replaced the wiper blade, made sure there isn't any debris in the way and watched it closely from the outside to see if it is hopping (it isn't to the naked eye). Has anyone ran into this problem before? I can't blame the blade as it is new and can't find logic in blaming the motor so it must be the arm right? Possibly bent ever so slightly???

Mine did that. I spent a hour or so getting it bent perfect. Also it helps to have a Water hose or a bucket of water to wet the windshield so you can see where it's skipping. I still have a few places where mine is skipping. I'm going to invest in new arms.

New arms. They are cheap. The spring wears out and doesn't keep pressure on the window. I did mine. You will be glad you did when winter hits.
