Concerning the gear lever not coming out of Park:
Did you use the Special Ford Pivot Tool for removing the Tilt-Wheel?
I'm sure you did, but had to ask.

I had my instrument cluster out when I replaced my Ignition Switch,
it was much easier to see, but I had it out for another reason though.

After you work on it Thursday, reply if you got it or not...

I'm posting pictures.

I just noticed in the LMC catalog that Ford changed the style of the 1992-96 F-Series Ignition Switch.

Default Down hard, ignition issue

Yep, ignition actuator arm was broken just below the pin holding the ignition actuator rod just like wagner59870 video on you tube. Thanks Wagner. The broken section was interferring with the shifting lever.

depicts.

Picked up a replacement at Advanced Auto in the Help section.

Yes, I did check the fuses and no I didn't use a pin puller. Simply found a machine screw that fit, screwed it in and pulled the pins. Worked like a champ.

Don't know if that solved all my starting issues because it got too dark to see. I'll follow up tomorrow.

Thanks for the suggestions guys.

Default Ignition Issue Resolved

Well that did it. Replaced the tilt, turn signals, ignition lock cylinder and steering wheel and it fired right up. Thank goodness. Now I can move on to my other issues.

Oh there was one last item. Does anyone have procedures, diagram or pictures of how to replace the shift lever indicator cable. Appears to me that the plastic coating around the wire has separated and the little wire doesn't move freely like it should. It's never worked since I've had the truck just thought if its any easy fix I'd like to take care it.

Anyway that's to everyone who assisted whether knowingly or not. There's a wealth of information on this forum and I certainly check as much as I can before jumping in. Thanks again.
