door mirrors

Default door mirrors

hey everybody ! I just got a 1995 f 150 I am trying to find out if my mirrors on the door fold in or not i dont wantr to force them i can see the door metal flexing it looks like they will but i dont have a owners manual they are the small power mirrors , can anybody help ? thanks

Ur not pushing hard enough. When im sitting in my truck both my feet get planted to tge floor trying to fold em in. Just keep pushing on the outside plastic. Maybe give it a little shoulder bump, but theyll fold.

The small electric ones I have seen are not breakaway style. This means that if they are pushed back to the window it is broken and will need replaced.

My 95 has damn near evey option available. Power everything. Whoever ordered it wanted top of the line simplicity. Im pretty sure they woulda ordered electric folding mirrors. I dont think it was an option then. So push harder.

thanks evreyone ! i did get them to move VERY STUCK i sprayed them with white lithium grease now they work good ! now does anyone have any ideas to get rid of scratches in windsheild from wiper arm ?

Replace the windshield. If it was metal to glass its deep and your not getting rid of it. You can never get glass back to smooth.
