Default Door handle

I have a 87 F150 and like every month I break off the drivers side door handle when i get out the truck ive replaced it 3 times allreadly and i drive the truck about 3 out of 7 days out of the week when i have work, and its horible when i show up to a customers house and have to open the door using the outside handle to get out the truck or get out the passanger door keep in mind when i work i work downtown chicago lincoln park area (high class area) lol is it just a common problem with these trucks? is ther a better type of handle i can buy bsides the ones i take off trucks at the junkyard. if not im planing to just make 1 out of metal and just bend or weld it to fit.

Try a brand new oem handle. The junk ones are probably already stressed.

Maybe your lock release cable has stretched, are you finding that you have to pull quite a bit on the handle to open the door? I had to pull pretty hard to open the door before I took the slack out of the cable.
