So I fizzed my door handle today and it just broke off. And ideas on a metal one

 

the metal ones are a couple bucks at most pick and pull's

they run 20 new at most parts stores.

i am assuming your talking about the inner door handles

 

Ya I've broke two plastic ones in the last 3 months

 

thats because you need to pull the door panel and repair the area....its probably ripped

and you are binding the handle trying to open the door and breaking them... the plastic are more than fine once the hinge is reinforced

 

You can unbolt the handle mechanism and put a large washer on both sides of the mounting location. Bolt it down tight and call it good. I've done both doors on one of my f150's and one on my other. No problems since.

 

^what the guys said above. I ordered new metal handles from bronco graveyard.

 

i got the metal ones off a 85 f150 they work great .i got them from the u pull yard
