When I open the door on my truck there is no chime or sound. However on my grandfathers 86 f150 4x4 Manuel inline six when you open the door it chimes and mines lacking that I have the relay for It but I dont know where to insert it any suggestions?

I agree with above... that thing is annoying. Im so happy it is not functional on my truck anymore....

I do as well want to how to fix my chime. It's nice knowing when you leave the lights on and such things...

 

if i remember right it plus into the main fuse block somewhere??? but dont hold me to that, pull the big relays out of the fuse block if it does go into the fuse block it will be a relay with a little hole on top of it.
