My buddy just purchased an 87 F150 and the driver fender and door were crunched. He bought a used door and fender and everything fits well, except the fender and door do not line up along the side of the car. The door sits in a littl further than the fender along the front edge of the door from the top to the bottom. Everything else lines up fine. Is there an adjustment of either the fender or the door to make them line up?

you just need to shim the door bracket where it mounts to the cab. thin washers or metal will work.
