During a KOER test my codes were 213 and a 538, am I chasing a bad wire/connection for the 213 and is the 538 an operator error?

what year and engine? 213 is spout circuit open make sure the spout circuit jumper or wire is still plugged in, or could be a broken or shorted wire on the harness. 538 is an operator error i think it's from the wide open throttle test. after it flashes the 3 or 4 times that identifies the engine there will be one quick flash and thats when you floor it just for a second

X2. This should mean your not getting ECU timing advance so engine performance would be lack luster at best. Check Base timing!

It's a 93 5.0 automatic. I needed something to do so I pulled the plug applied a little go juice, inserted, drove, and retested. All clear but still a bit herky-jerky. I hope to check timing this weekend.
