Distributorless Ignition System Ques.

My truck is throwing a 221 code, but I have a distributor. I'm sure I'm missing something, but my redneck logic says that an engine equipped with DIS would not have a distributor.

Any insight?

DTC 221=Spark timing error, you looked up DTC 221 on a later model vehicle, FYI.

Gotcha, the DIS was the code given in my code reader manual
