Default Distributor replasement.

It is possible replace distributor 1996 E 150 4,9l to electronic one .

All distributors are electro-mechanical. The factory distributor is the best one for that engine. What's wrong with it that makes you think it needs to be replaced?

My distributor just does not turn , I don't know what the problem and I just wondering If I need replace for new one , maybe better idea to save money replace for electronic module if applicable and for better fuel economy and less maintenance .

No electronic module will fix a seized distributor.

Sounds like the timing gears are gone, have you looked in the oil filler hole to see if the rockers are moving?
