Is there a difference in caps? And if so what do you have and why?

there is a difference in caps. the cheap caps will sometimes have aluminum (sp?) terminals and arent the best at conducting the charge. the better ones usually have brass terminals as they conduct better.

something like an MSD cap, im not sure what they use for their terminals, but i would guess brass as well. the same cap will just be of a little better quality as well to uphold their name.

im using just a brass terminal one, nothing fancy, but only because i havent had a chance to get my msd one yet

Yes there is a difference. Marketing hype. The ones who would mislead you usually cost more and the gullible ones will gladly pay more money for Brass because they aren't smart enough to put an OHM meter on the contacts and learn there is no increased resistance between the 2. Aluminum is a much better conductor of electricity than Brass is, but at the short lengths of the material, there is no difference. Brass is just prettier.

These are usually the same folks who buy "Gold Plated" and/or Oxygen Free audio cables.

They aren't stupid, just ignorant. They believe the Hype.

Now ya know.
