Default Distributor cap adjustments

Replaced my distributor cap the other day, and i noticed that the housing was loose and i could swivel it. I tried my best to realign where it was before and the truck runs fine but a little sloppy from a stop. Just wondering if there was a timing marker on the housing or do i need a timing light to readjust it.

See link: http://www.fordfuelinjection.com/?p=71

Use a timing light w/ engine pre-warmed to norm op temp. Don't forget to remove SPOUT Plug when checking or adjusting base time.

SPOUT Plug ^^^^^^^
