here is how to tell for sure....

line up the #6 cylinder where that is the cam gear DOT down...and the crank gear DOT up...on the timing cover the balancer should be at 0 (Zero)

I will pull the balancer and cover than set them back on and slide the balancer on just enough to line it up...

now pull the timing chain and gears...slide on the new lower gear as you should...put the top gear back on...

Slide on the lower gear and Line up the A and then using the Balancer now turn it a smidgin and line up the A to the top gear without the chain on....

then put on the top gear with the chain now to make sure it is lined up... pop the cover on and then slide the balncer on and then read the tab...how many degrees did it move....? thats your answer..
