Default The Death Wobble is Back.

The death wobble is back and this time its going to kill me... I just put a 6in suspension lift on my truck. Everything was fine, it rides better than the 17 year old stock suspension (I like stiffer suspension). Happened after my alignment was done and its persistantly getting worse. I know for a fact my ball joints are SHOT and I need new hub bearings and a new rotor. One of my bolts on my driverside brake caliper snapped off so thats rigged to work... ish.

I have a master plan and I want some input on what ya'll think. I picked up a Dana 44 TTB front axle last week. Its got excellent rotors, Calipers, Pads and bearings, ontop of that its got new ball joints and good tie rod (inner/outter). The reason I didn't put this on is because I wanted to put off my 4x4 conversion til I finish college in a year but should I just go ahead and do it now? Is it worth the extra weight to drive around, worse MPG's? Other effects? HELP!!!

Yeah that why its out of the way. People discouraged me to do a 4wd conversion but I don't understand why. Its a direct bolt up conversion and If you know where to look for the right parts then you won't have a single problem. I mean there is even the cut out already in the floor for the donkey leg. and all the holes for the Tcase cross members.

I ended up swapping it out and my death wobble went away, but I had to put new hub bearings in.... and these rotors are a little warped.... oh well. and it took me thirty minutes to pull the 2wd ttb set up and about an hour to put in the 4wd ttb dana 44. It feels alot better, heavier front end helps with traction in the front. and i haven't noticed a change in gas mileage.

So is the Death Wobble back or gone? I want to know what caused the death wobble and what it looked like while you were driving it.
