Default Cutting out?

I have a 87 with a 302 and since I got the truck it has some issue the I can't figure out. While drivin down the road it like cuts out for a split second then runs fine again unless I have the clutch pushed when it does it then it dies but fires right back up. Any ideas?

Bad connection maybe? Unplug and re-connect all the power wires to the coil, distributor, etc. See if that helps. FYI - problems like that sometimes go away and you'll never know what it was. But it's gone so...

I'd check for codes first. Bad IAC or TPS maybe?
