Default create way to install a kill switch

There have been some car break-ins in my neighborhood and my truck doesn't exactly need a key to start it (must've been stolen at one point). I was thinking of installing a kill switch, wire it into the ignition somewhere or maybe the fuel pump. Has anyone done anything like this? I would like to hear about it. I am trying to think of a good way to hide a switch, just need advice on what to splice the switch into.

Splice it into the constant 12v going to the fuel pump.

You'll find the fuel pump near your fuel tank. You didn't provide much model info so it's hard to help beyond that...

As for hiding the switch, be creative.

I had an old bronco I wired a kill switch into. It was a 5 speed with a switch on the clutch to where it wouldn't start if the clutch wasn't in. I found the solinoid on the back of the pedal and tore out the two wires running to it and instead wired a 12v toggle switch. The clutch kill switch no longer worked but its common sense to me to use it when starting. I hid the switch on the hood-release handle and unless I told you it was there no one would find it.

That sounds like an easy job Ill try that out!
I guess the secret is just making the switch as discrete as possible.
