Default Crackling noise when engine up to temp

Ok I always assumed it was a exaust leak but wanted opinions. has been going on for as long as i remember. does'nt sound like its in the motor. motor revs and pulls hard no matter how long i have been driving it.

well went for a drive to check it out again and it did'nt do it. maybe im hearing things. I do know that one of my injectors is really clicling loud though

If it's a crackling/poping tinny noise it's probably various heat shields on your exhaust system, or your exhaust system itself at various joints expanding/contracting. You could look around your exhaust system at all joints, connections and shields for discoloration from the rest of the system. The discoloration will show movement.
