Would a cracked intake sound like and exhaust leak?

I would think a cracked intake would suck instead of blow. With an intake leak you should seeing problems with you idle running high, like a vacuum leak.

Ok i just wasn't sure if it would make a similar sound ir not.. It idles normal.. But when i had manifolds on the truck it had an exhaust leak when i put the headers on and took it to the muffler shop and had the exhaust ran it had the same sounding exhaust leak.. I stopped by advance today and got new header gaskets going to change the passenger side first and see what happens i guess.. Hopefully it fix it nothing more agg. Than a exhaust leak and squeaky pulley lol thanks

With your headers, a common issue is that the flange surface is not true. You might want to take a look at that if you haven't already done so. It will keep blowing gaskets if that's the case.

Exhaust leaks usually have a tapping noise that sounds like a stuck/bad lifter.

Matthew I did wonder about that to cause when i pulled the manifolds off it had that tube ran into a pipe welded onto it but when i had the exhaust ran out i ttok it back to that guy and he said he didnt feel anything pushing out there? so i dnno about it.. and qdeezie what do you mean not true on the flange? ive went threw the whole exhaust and couldnt feel no air or small suet sots from the welds or the flanges where exhaust meets the headers the only place i found was a couple lil spots where at the very back header bolt but couldnt work my arm up there to feel if air was pushing threw
