Cracked frame
No such thing as a new frame or crossmember for these trucks - junkyard only. Removing it intact will be as big an undertaking as installing it will be. The engines will have to be out of both trucks. There will be a lot of drilling, chiseling, grinding, cursing, bleeding, & sweating involved; and it all has to be done twice, before the replacement can be put in. There are many rivets that will have to be drilled out, and a few welds to cut. The rivets get replaced by bolts as this page describes:

So you should really consider ALL of the costs (time, money, hassle) before beginning such an extensive repair on such an old truck. You'd probably be MUCH better-off selling it and getting something newer, or in better condition.
