coolant affecting idle...
Can a coolant leak affect idle?can a vacum leak affect idle? and anything else that could affect idle let me know.I have replaced so many parts my ford has not been used in weeks im getting low on energy and money need to get work done around the house.
-plugs,wires,rotor,fuel filter, various other things i was hoping it was.
-i have serched alot to find it could be IAC or upper intake gasket?
-the truck will start run but either run real high or normal idle then lower and lower and lower until it dies and starts up the nstruggles and struggles.
thanks guys.

What year is your F-150?
What engine do you have?
No, a coolant leak will not affect the idle of your engine,
but, the IAC will have an effect on how the engine idles.
Yes, a vacuum leak will affect the idle of your engine.
Unless the upper Intake has been removed recently,
it's probably not the Intake Gasket leaking.
I'm not sure if you have replaced the Spark Plugs, Spark Plug Wires, Rotor Button or not, if not; replace them.
Have you checked the Fuel pressure at the rail?
(The V-8's fuel pressure is lower than the I6)
Have you "Run Codes" yet?
WITH ALL THAT SAID;
The Idle Air Control (IAC) valve would be the first part that I would replace.
Let us know what you found.
