Default Converting intank pump to high pressure

Hi

I was hoping to get some advice from more experienced people on this site.

I have an 89 f150 with the intank low pressure / inline high pressure combo.

I plan on only running the rear tank.

Does anyone know how hard it would be to convert to a single intank high pressure pump like in the 92+ f150's? Are the fuel tanks the same? Can i just buy a later model sending unit?

My truck is being restored and is currently a rolling chassis so i have easy access to everything. Id prefer intank pump for simplicity and quietness.

Appreciate any help

Adam
