Default Cold air intake

If I wanted to install a cold air intake on my 5.0 what would I do with the hose that goes to the oil cap?

I don't want it for performance of anything like that. I just hate that box haha

Cold air: Cut a hole in the hood and add a scoop or route a tube down bellow.

Warm air: Sticking a cone filter under the hood instead.

Most people just put a small breather filter on the valve cover and remove the hose.

FYI, your truck has cold air intake from the factory. I run a warm air intake and as sylver said above, a valve cover breather filter installed. On my 5.0, if I remember correctly, I retained the stock breather tube on it. Here's my breather filter on my 4.9

And my warm air intake on my 4.9....K&N RF1012.

And finally my warm air intake on my former 5.0
