Default code 636... does aod-e have a temp sensor?

Been having a problem with my trans sometimes stumbling out of gear(over drive) and OD light flashing. So I pulled the codes and 636 ( trans temp signal to low or high) and 452(vss) . My question is, does my aod-e have a temp sensor? Because all the sites I've looked at only show what looks like a connector end-cap. And also, where is the VSS located on a 94 F-150 2wd? In the differential or the transmission? Thanks for any help fellas.

Yes it does, on the valve body. Pull the pan to get to it.

Speed sensor is on top of the rear axle.
