I have to revive this thread!
Trying to enjoy the fruit of my labor with this truck. I have 111 KOEO. The truck has been dying on me when it is warm and put into reverse and really just shifting hard and almost like it has a miss or cutting out around the 35mph mark.
So I got it back to house and threw the code reader on. I got a 634 CM, which may explain the shifting and cutting out issue. With the age of this truck and I believe most everything was original when I got it, I am just going to replace the MLPS/ Neutral safety switch. It could be a wiring issue, however everything else on this truck was faulty component.

I also still have this 542. My font tank gauge reads way over full, even when empty. Not too worried about this code. This one might (hard to tell) be a wire. I have had a couple of instances where the gauge actually moved and showed a quantity of fuel. Whether it was correct or not I don't know. This code is also CM.

If any one has any further input, I am all ears or eyes.

Here is what the connector looked like on the MLPS. Bare wires wrapped around themselves. Its a wander it was even driving. One wire was frayed down to one strand. Trying to salvage the terminal at the present. It is not going so well. I may wind having to hit the pull a part.

Got it back together. Drives, shifts much better. Cleared the codes. Next drive, will check again. If all is good with exception of fuel pump circuit, I will check KOER.
