Clutch hard to push down

Default Clutch hard to push down

I have a 1987 f150 302 4speed manual. when i push the clutch down theres no spring to it like in normal clutches. i pushed down a clutch im another f150 and it was way diffrent in a good way. i was wondering if u guys have any advice what i should do to fix it.

spring pushing down or coming back i have the same truck describe what you mean is it spongy is it to hard to push or is it to hard to disengage the clutch to switch gears etc there isnt a lot that was there for a clutch it has a pedle a safty switch a return spring a master cyl a slave cyl then the clutch plate the pilot bearing the fly wheel thats basic it besides the fluid and lines if its to soft try bleeding it if its to hard maybe theres too much fluid in the master

its not spongy to push down it pretty hard to push down. when u get to a certin point i think it should drop down. like there should be more spring asistance helping the pedal to go down. coming back up is no problem its just pushing it down.
