Well been concerned with my sons 87 300 six 4 speed's clutch. It had never fully disengaged since we bought it a few months back. You had to really push the pedal into the floor to get it to work and first or reverse were best done with engine off. After reading on the site issues that the 87 had I was able to track it down to the plastic bushing from the linkage to master cylinder. It was completely missing and had severe play. One trip to the parts store and six dollars later it is shifting great. So much better to drive. Thanks for all the info on the site!!!!
