Default Cluster problem?

Hey guys, my speedo and odometer aren't working (digital odo is blank, needle on speedo won't move) I checked the VSS and abs and everything there is ok. I tried to do the sweep test on the cluster(hold reset, key on, release reset) and the needles didn't sweep and won't reset. All my other gauges work. Do I have a bad cluster? Anyone have this problem before?

Well, if the fuses are good (if your dome light and radio don't turn on also that would have been a blown fuse) the yeah it might be a bad cluster. The cluster is group of "pods" with the various gauges on them. The one with the speedo/odo might be bad or the plug to it. Probably have to take it off and check.

That's what I thought. Think it may be the PSOM. I'm going to grab a junkyard cluster and see... Only problem is the PO replaced the ECM and I'm not sure if it's right. I would imagine that could cause problems within the cluster as well.
