Not too long ago I repaired my thermal fuse in the ADM and now I am getting a code for the clock spring (can't recall the number). Has anyone simply jumpered the clock spring with a 2 ohm resistor at the plug under the dash to trick the system into thinking all is well? Yes, the airbag will not function any longer as it will be disconnected but I am not concerned with that.

 

What's the point of keeping the ADM if the airbag doesn't work anyway? Just unplug it - why mess with resistors?
