Default Clicking while turning?

Ive been hearing a clicking when I turn the wheel. It always does it when I turn left, and only sometimes when I turn right, speed coincides with the rate of the clicks too. Lug nuts are tight, no play in the u joint that I could tell with a big screwdriver, planning on getting the front end in the air and checking for wheel bearing play. Any similar experiences or ideas? 95 F150 4x4

Wheel bearings would be good to check, also might be something with the locking hubs...

was a bad front drive axle u-joint on mine.
with the front wheels off the ground and the hubs locked I could spin the tire by hand and hear it.
