Default Check engine light? help!?

so i was driving my truck all week in 4wd due to deep snow, i never went over 40mph. but then today i stopped and changed it to 2wd so i could go a little bit faster and as i pulled off and hit about 50mph my check engine light popped on. am i shifting from 4 wheel to 2 wheel incorrectly or is it non related.

when i go into 4 wheel i lock my hubs, and then shift into 4 wheel and drive away. and when i go to 2 wheel i shift into 2 wheel and then free up my hubs. anything abnormal? any ideas on the check engine?

Ask it! run Error code scans & find out what it's pissed off about! And posting yr. & engine is also helpful.
