Default Cheap Tach?

My 93 4.9l did not come with a tach, I figured they all did when looking at pics and videos online, but I guess I have the bare bones edition.

Can I just get a simple cheap tach and easily hook it up with a couple wires, or is there more to it than that?

For example, can I go as cheap as this one?

Plus I have a 20% off coupon

I do not need high quality I just want correct function. For some reason I like having tachs in my vehicles, it gives me more of a since of what is going on.

Alot of fully decked out model Fords didn't come with tachs either...and yes, it's that simple.

you can go to a junk yard and get the stock tach, put it in yourself. theres a thread here somewhere about that, its easy and the wires are there...
