One rear bracket is beginning to crack so bought Dorman bracket kits. I remember reading an advice about ditching the included bushing bolt for 7/16 bolt, although that kit was another brand and I forgot who where what.
How about the bolts included with dorman kits, front and rear? Especially the short bolts for bracket to frame? Are they full size enough so the brackets don't move around, and are they short enough to clear the gas tanks? If not, what size bolts would you recommand for 1996 4.9L, M5od, reg. cab, long bed, 2 gas tanks?
