I'm about to mount a cb radio on my truck and want to know if anybody had a good idea of where the antenna looks/functions best on this body style. Any suggestions?

 

Honestly....dead center of the cab roof is the best ground plane. I had mine setup for directional on the center of the rear bumper and fairly directional on the center of the tool box. Same with my hf ham radio equipment. I could turn the truck in the direction that I wanted to shoot and receive skip and it worked fantastic for transmitter hunts back in the day.
