Hey all I found a cap from a 97 f150 for really cheap. Will this fit on my 92? Looks like it will be 1/2 inch short on each side. But the lenth looks good. Anyone tried it?

I don't think it will fit too well, the 97's, except for the heritage model, had a differently shaped cab and the caps were molded to match those angles. The heritage model looked just like the 92-96's and a cap from one would be the same as ours.
