Default Cam Selection

Cam selection question. I have a 93 150 with a 302 and an E40D. Just got done with mass air conversion from a 95. from my understanding I have a roller block so I would like to put in a roller cam when I install my set of GT40P's. I really don't need anything too agressive, would like to gain a litttle more on the low end. Just looking for suggestions. Thanks

Nothing too aggressive, then you would have to get better valve train, look at comp, crane, lunati an see what they have to offer for your engine, also go to the Ford Racing catalog and see what they have for cams, they are pretty good at least showing what cams to use and to compare, also for an aggressive cam you would need better compression.

Low RPM cams are best for the torque that trucks put out. It also make a much deeper sound. Usually though, at a minimum, you have to put different size rollers and rods when you change the cam. It's better to go with a full kit. Hope it helps!
