I am having a hard time funding the right cam for my truck it's a 1992 f150 4x4 302 and it is in the process of a full rebuild I have headers on it and all I need now is a cam to give me some really good bottom end torque it's also got 3.55 rear end gears and automatic tranny with od

Comp Cams 35-512-8 is a good is a good starting point.

The camshaft out of the 94-96 F150s / 96-2000 Explorers isn't half bad.

Crane Cams 364211 is another one to take a look at.

The custom ground cam route isn't a bad idea, either.

If you are interested in a roller cam i got one from a 95 and roller lifters for $20 for all if you wan it

cam and thrust plate... roller lifter and spider... drilling two holes to fit the spider if its a non-roller block..

Little more expensive, but less work is to get link bar lifters. And also need to change gear on distributor, or get a distributor from roller motor..
