I have found a NOS pair. But looking at the front bumper where the two bolts are where the BG"s would mount, seems it would look a little odd since it would be a wide distance. Anyone got a 87-91 non rubber strip with factory guards, could you email me a pic? bluethunderstx@yahoo.com Thanks

 

Oddly enough, after making post I had to run to town. Met an 87-91 with bumper guards mounted on the bolts closest to center and the truck had the impact strip.(Guy who has guards says they are not for bumper with impact strip) Mmmmm!!! My only thought was owner cut strip where guard mounts and had to drill a top hole. But it looked right. Guards come with a top and bottom bolt. I'll check behind bumper and see if there is clearence for that top bolt. Confused but I love the ingenuity.
