There are , searched the forum and there are a couple kits mentioned Broncograveyard.com offering one. There are tons of kits for the 8.8 but they are not spec'd for trucks/Bronco's. Anybody know what the difference is ? This one for example fits the Ranchero and Granada 8.8. FORD 9" 8" Rear Axle End Disc Brake Conversion Kit Small Bearing WPark Cross | eBay with s/s lines slotted drilled disc e brake calipers for $345 ... I have put rear disc's on two 64's and a 65 F100's and amazed and disappointed at the kits available for my 87 flareside.

The Ranchero ended in 1979; the 8.8" wasn't produced until 1983. So IDK what that page is about.
But the real issue is: WHY are you asking? Disk brakes do the same thing as drum brakes - just in a slightly different way. And the drum brakes on these trucks WORK WELL when simply maintained. The cost & effort of converting one to disk will NEVER pay off over the cost & effort of simply fixing the drums, given the NEGLIGIBLE change in performance. Particularly considering the LOSS in performance with many aftermarket kits, which do not have a (legally-required) mechanical backup emergency brake system.
Drilling & slotting rotors DIMINISHES their performance, and costs extra, making it a horrible waste.
