Default bosch starter

Hello. My truck is 1996 300 I6 manual. I just bought bosch starter. Questions:
1. bench testing - this is what I did. Clamp on battery neg. Clamp on starter body. Clamp on solenoid bottom lug. Clamp on battery pos. I get sparks when trying to clamp on battery pos. Is the spark normal? Because I completed a circuit? Jumper to ignition terminal was not completed.

2. to make sure - this starter has 2 lugs. Are both power? I see N stamped next to the top lug. Is the top lug neutral? If not, am I supposed to connect both lugs before doing the bench test?

3. Original starter has a cap that covers lug/lugs on solenoid. Does the cap connect both lugs?

4. Reviews on this starter were good, until just today I read that Bosch starters have start problems when heat soaked. They have separate relay kit for this problem. Should I return the starter and get motorcraft reman.?

5. 2 red wires start from battery pos. Does only one go to starter?

Thank you in advance.

About that bosch having heat soak start problem, that answer was posted (elsewhere) in 2006. Hopefully, bosch eliminated that problem.
