Bogging on acceleration can be caused by several issues and we need a lot more info on your truck and the conditions the bog occurs.
First I would pull the codes from the computer. If there are codes check on the forum for possible solutions.
If you don't have one get a vacuum gauge to see how the engine is breathing. The gauge will help a lot in diagnosing issues with valves, exhaust, and timing.
I would check the spark plugs, plug wires, timing, and coil.
After that I would check for vacuum leaks especially around the throttle body area.
Examine the inside of the throttle body for carbon build up.
Check the fuel pressure and fuel injectors
Check the exhaust for restrictions like a plugged cat.
Before spending any real money do a compression and or leak down test to see if the cylinders are up to snuff.
Good luck
