Default Which Bluetooth OBD2 works?

Of course I'm not sure if I've purchase cheap copies or what, but I have tried 3 different Bluetooth OBD scanners and all connect as far as pairing with my Galaxy S5 running TORQUE application but none connect to my ECU. Tried Elm 327, a white one and a black one, then also a Vgate. Seems like a lot of these have trouble with the Ford protocol so anyone know for sure what works and where do I go for one that's not a rip off copy? I'd like to communicate with my truck so it's this or a Vulcan mind meld. (anyone know a Vulcan?)

Could be an issue with the truck. There should be a fuse for the diagnostic port circuit. Have you tried linking up to a normal scanner? Go to auto zone, see if they can link up.
