Blower motor problems

1996 xlt 4.9 fan operates in hi only. test lite on resistor coils are all hot including resistor. power to fan switch orange w/ white tracer. jump hot to blk wire causes hi fan. jumping other wires nothing

Sounds like a bad resistor - mine did the same thing (all or none) and a new resistor did the trick.
