Default Better light output?

Ok so when I was into Vw's a lot of people relayed their headlights for better light output. Would this work in our trucks? Here is a link that explains the process. http://www.vintagewatercooleds.com/t.../Headlight.htm

Just a thought.

yes that will work and is a common mod on our trucks, the switch in the dash likes to go out more so if you run higher watt bulbs, or nice after market bulbs.

as far as making them brighter i dont know about that. maybe not dim as bad.

but if you want to make them brighter get the higher watt bulbs or one of the numerous specialty bulbs( silverstar is one off hand)

and i would also recomend new head lights to replace the faded out factory ones. you can find factory replacements online for less than 20 bucks. or you can get clear ones they come in a set, and are very reaily avaliable on e bay, just do a search on it.

Alright cool. Thanks for the info. When I did this mod to my Jetta I had the silverstar ultras but they were still dim. After I did this mod they were a lot brighter.
I might give it a try. I was just seeing if anyone has done it.
