Default Better gas mileage and different tanks?

It seems like i get a lot better gas mileage on my front gas tank. My front tank has a new fuel pump so could that be it? I know my front tank is 19 gallons and my rear is 18.2 but when I run my front tank down i get about 240 miles and only 200 with my rear tank.

If one of your pumps are weaker, then the engine will need to work harder to keep running.

Always go front to rear? Maybe one tank is weighing down the truck while you use the other, worse mileage on the first tank. That's what I always thought...
