Year/model/engine?

More info. needed. You charged the battery but the truck still won't crank? Connections are good? Why did you need to charge the battery, was it drained? Is your starter or solenoid defective?

Can you hear your starter clicking as you turn the key over? If so, what is the condition of your terminals and the wires leading to them? The wires that connect to the terminals can get corroded where they are exposed. This the same thing my truck did when I first got it. A wire brush and some elbow grease did the trick for me.

Connections probably weren't tight. After you cleaned them up you tightened them up and all is good now.
