is it actually draining the battery, or just upping the current draw while it's running?

is it draw from the blower any time it's on or just with heat, not on cool air?

Hmmm, any other accessories cause the same problem? lights? wipers? anything you could plug into the power port to try drawing some current off of it?

if the blower is the only thing doing it, I'd look at the blower motor itself... if other power draws cause the same thing, it's somewhere else in the charging system.

I am really no too great with electrical, so I can't point you toward a cause, but maybe someone else can help out more.

What year truck? has an amp meter it must be after market or are you talking volt meter there is a big differance. the very first thing i would check is alternater drive belt condition and tension if the blower was pulling to much power it should have blowen the fuse. Bubbabud
